Join Butterfly Kids Yoga for a special nighttime themed yoga class over Spring Break! Butterfly Kids Yoga's nighttime yoga is the perfect opportunity to wind down, calm down, and relax after a busy day. Geared for ages 5 - 12, we'll get the last of our pent-up energy out, and then we will calm down with relaxing nighttime yoga activities.
Here is a sneak peek of what this special event will include:
Active yoga (to start!)
Is your child a ball of energy, even when they are downright tired at the end of the day? We will get those wiggles out with some active yoga to start -- it works like a charm!
Nighttime themed yoga games
We'll start to calm down with fun yoga games that require teamwork and partner work!
Stretching, breathing, posing
As we begin to wind down even more, we'll stretch it out and learn calm breathing techniques.
"Yawning" yoga
We'll get a little cozier as we learn simple, calming yoga poses that your kiddos can use at home before bed.
Cozy Secret Garden
This part of class is usually very quiet and relaxing, but we'll be even cozier and sleepy in our nighttime yoga Secret Garden as we drift off and relax. Zzzzzz...
The goal of yoga before bed is to help children shift their focus from their busy day and begin to focus on quieting their bodies, calming their breathing, and getting ready for a better night's sleep. Sounds pretty great, right?!
Come with a friend, sibling or come solo to enjoy a peaceful night of yoga for your kids. Parents are welcome to drop off or stay. And, PJs are more than welcome!
