EVENT NAME: Yoga for Athletes session (private event)
DATE: Sunday, March 18, 2018
TIME: 4:00 - 5:00pm
WHAT TO BRING: Please bring water. Yoga mats are available to borrow if you do not have your own.
WHAT TO WEAR: Yoga gear or comfortable athletic clothes that are easy to move in.
WHY YOGA FOR ATHLETES: The best athletes are those that challenge themselves in a variety of ways and train using a multi-faceted approach. Through yoga, athletes will build strength, increase flexibility, and enhance mental focus which will ultimately improve their performance and prevent injuries.
CLASS SPECIFICS: Class will include active yoga sequences, along with stretching, flexibility and conditioning work. Equal emphasis will be given to mindfulness and practical breathing techniques to improve focus and stamina.
