A beer, a quote, and how it made me smile.
/Confession. I'm a yoga teacher and I love craft beers, especially on hot summer days :) Even better are the ones that have great quotes under the cap. That's exactly what I found over the weekend under the cap of a Magic Hat #9.
I put the cap in my pocket but it's been on my mind ever since. The power of a smile.
I thought about my own kids and how their smiles always make ME smile at just the right moment. I thought about our yoga classes and how smiles are a common theme. At all ages.
Little yogis? Smiling and giggling as we "shake our sillies out" or bark like doggies in downward dog.
Bigger kids? Big smiles as they master partner poses or enjoy Freeze Dance, Yoga Pose!
Athletes? Smiles of accomplishment as they realize their own strength.
Adults? Refreshed smiles after a rejuvenating adult class to wrap up the day.
The common thread among all of these smiles? Feeling good, having fun, and enjoying yoga-time. Because yes...to make someone smile is SO worthwhile!
